Karlena Cornell, Miss Horowhenua, took part in an amateur strip contest at the Sexpo exhibition while holidaying in Brisbane, Australia, the Dominion newspaper reported. „I didn‘t think for one minute that someone would take my photo for publishing anywhere.
No one asked me if I minded or even asked my name,“ Cornell told the newspaper. Organisers of the contest in Horowhenua — a region 90 km north of Wellington — have yet to decide if they will accept Cornell‘s resignation, the Dominion reported.
